East. The Rays are as good a road team as their is in baseball but they’re up against it tonight against an Oakland A team that is showing buy signs on a big stretch run. Tampa Bay will send out David Price who is 5-0 with a 2.51 ERA over his L8 starts but his ERA is 4.00 over his L3 and that doesn’t bode well against an A lineup that is tearing the cover off the ball to the tune .308 over its last seven games which producing 6.6 runs-per-game. The homies Jarrod Parker is 4-0 with a 1.93 ERA in his L5 and is 2-0 with an even lower 1.07 ERA over his last three. These are two hard trying teams that fight to the last out and both need wins as we head into the final month of the regular season. Getting a good home team playing well after an East Coast swing at plus money seems a solid way to go here. BoSox (Lester) -151 over Baltimore (Tillman)  (7:05 PM EST) Tonight’s starting pitchers are in pretty good form but we still think we can make a solid case for the homestanding BoSox and John Lester. Boston has won the first two games of this series and is putting a serious hurt on the Orioles post-season aspirations. The Red Sox have won five of six overall while the Birds have dropped five straight on the road allowing 31 runs. Chris Tillman has pitched well enough to win with a 2.47 ERA in his last four bit all he has to show for it is an 0-1 record. He’s pitched well in his career starts vs. Boston and he’s 3-1 LT with a nice 2.08 ERA. He’s up against it tonight vs. John Lester who is razor sharp going 2-0 with a 0.57 ERA in his last two. Further, Lester is a perfect 4-0 in his nine home starts. The Boston southpaw is also 15-2 with a 2.72 ERA in 23 lifetime starts against the Birds. Not all that happy about laying the 50 cent surcharge but this appears to be two teams headed in opposite directions. Lets call this Boston 4-2. Recommendation: Boston -151
